Product Description

Against the Shadow is the first expansion for War of the Ring: The Card Game, designed for players who want to experience the epic struggle of Middle-earth alone or cooperatively.

Instead of another player controlling the Shadow, this expansion replaces the normal Shadow decks with tailored Shadow bot faction cards. The Free Peoples play as usual, while the Shadow follows a structured flowchart system that creates a clever and challenging opponent. The rulebook also includes standard and challenging difficulty modes, making it easier to adjust the pressure for your table.
