A new path through nature is waiting — and this time, it follows the water.

Meadow: Downstream expands the beautiful world of Meadow with a journey inspired by rivers, streams and lakes. Climb into your kayak and explore aquatic environments filled with new wildlife, landscapes and discoveries while continuing the thoughtful card play of the original game.

More than 80 new cards bring water-connected flora, fauna and scenery to your collection, while a new kayaking mechanic gives you another way to explore and score. As you progress downstream, your journey along the river can earn additional points and open new possibilities alongside the familiar meadow-building gameplay.

At the centre of the expansion is a two-sided river board, allowing your group to choose how you want the journey to feel. Navigate a faster-moving stream for one style of play or take the calmer river route for another, adjusting the level of competition while exploring two different sides of the aquatic landscape.

A new thematic envelope adds even more discoveries to uncover, while the watercolour artwork carries Meadow's peaceful nature-journal style into a completely new environment.

• Meadow base game is required to play.
• Downstream introduces a new two-sided River Board with two ways to play: Lazy River and Wild Rapids.
• Lazy River is recommended for your first game with the expansion.
• Each player receives a Kayaker Marker and River Trail Token, opening a new River Card area alongside the familiar Meadow boards.
• Playing cards with oar symbols moves your Kayaker along the river, where progress can unlock additional actions and contribute victory points.
• Downstream introduces Watery Ground, a sixth ground type, along with new aquatic card symbols.
• The expansion adds more than 80 cards across the River Deck, new cards for Meadow's existing decks, special cards, solo content and a thematic envelope.
• A dedicated Downstream solo variant expands the original game's solo experience with Rover.
• The included thematic Envelope Z – Over the Water contains 6 additional River Deck cards to discover.
• Downstream works with the familiar Meadow card-building and set-collection system while adding a substantial new river journey alongside it.
