About this product
The rails don’t stop at the shoreline.
Build railway and sea routes across two maps as trains, ships and harbors open new paths to victory.
A standalone Ticket to Ride adventure where 2–5 players connect cities by rail and sea across the World or Great Lakes maps.
Product Description
Take Ticket to Ride beyond the railway in Ticket to Ride: Rails & Sails, a standalone adventure that combines trains, ships and harbors across a double-sided game board.
Choose between two journeys. Travel across the World, connecting cities and crossing oceans as your network stretches around the globe, or take on the Great Lakes, where railways and shipping routes weave around one of North America’s most iconic regions.
Train Cards claim railway routes while Ship Cards open routes across the water. Before the journey begins, you'll also decide how many train and ship pieces to keep in your personal supply, making the balance between land and sea part of your strategy from the start.
Harbors add another scoring opportunity. Build them in port cities connected to your routes and they can become highly valuable when your completed Destination Tickets pass through them.
The World map introduces Tour Tickets and challenging Pair Routes, while the Great Lakes offers its own setup and route network. Across both maps, careful card collection, route planning and the right mix of trains and ships can make the difference between reaching your destinations and watching a rival get there first.
With familiar Ticket to Ride foundations and a completely new way to travel, Rails & Sails offers a bigger journey for families and established Ticket to Ride players alike.
