About this product
Two maps, two very different railway adventures across Asia.
2–6 Players | Ages 8+ | 30–60 Minutes | Compatible Ticket to Ride Base Game Required
Expand Ticket to Ride with two new Asian maps featuring competitive exploration in Legendary Asia and team-based railway building in Team Asia.
Product Description
Take your Ticket to Ride journeys east with Ticket to Ride Map Collection Vol 1: Asia, an expansion featuring two different maps and new ways to experience the familiar railway-building game.
In Team Asia, designed by Alan R. Moon, players pair up and embark on a 25,000 kilometre railway journey stretching from Kabul to Beijing, across the steppes of Mongolia, through the Gobi Desert and towards the Yellow River.
Team Asia introduces a dedicated team format for 4 or 6 players. Partners share their score while managing both private and shared Train cards and Destination Tickets. Communication is limited, so working together is about reading the developing railway network and making the most of the information you are allowed to share.
For a different challenge, Legendary Asia, designed by François Valentyne, takes players along the Silk Road, through Indochina and across the demanding mountain passes of the Himalayas.
With two maps in one expansion, Asia gives Ticket to Ride players fresh destinations and two distinct styles of railway adventure.
Why you’ll love it
- Two maps in one expansion: Explore both Team Asia and Legendary Asia.
- A completely different team experience: Team Asia allows 4 or 6 players to compete as teams of two.
- Shared strategy with limited communication: Teammates work towards a common score while managing private and shared cards.
- Travel across a huge Asian landscape: Build routes through locations stretching from Kabul to Beijing and beyond.
- Take on the Himalayas: The Asian maps bring demanding mountain journeys into your railway adventure.
- New Destination Tickets: Each map includes its own Destination Tickets for fresh routes and objectives.
- Adds a sixth player option: Team Asia expands Ticket to Ride play to teams of up to 6 players.
- Useful team accessories included: Six card holders help teams manage shared Train cards and Tickets.
- Designed for existing Ticket to Ride players: It expands the familiar route-building system rather than replacing your base game.

- Team Asia includes tunnel routes: Himalayan tunnels can require additional Train cards when they are claimed.
- Team Asia supports a sixth player: This expansion adds the opportunity to play Ticket to Ride with 6 players when using its team format.
- Base game components are required: For Team Asia, the rules call for trains and matching scoring markers from Ticket to Ride or Ticket to Ride Europe, together with 110 Train Car cards from one of those games or the USA 1910 expansion.
