About this product

Build, pray, harvest, meditate and uncover ancient secrets in the snowy mountains.

A focused fantasy strategy game for 1 to 4 players, designed by Philip DuBarry and illustrated by Kerri Aitken.

Lead your mountain village and monastery toward enlightenment while gathering resources, building structures and seeking lost knowledge.

Product Description

Deep in the snowy mountains, ancient scrolls of powerful knowledge have been hidden for centuries. They are not easy to find, and they are protected by mystical beasts. In Snowcrest, you lead a village and monastery as your people work toward enlightenment, peace and prosperity.

You will guide priests, farmers and labourers as they build structures, tend barley fields, harvest juniper, present offerings, meditate and uncover the secrets of a forgotten age. Each turn gives you meaningful choices as you activate villagers, add new villagers to your village, manage resources and decide when to rest.

Cards can be used in different ways, buildings can help produce resources, and the Omen track adds pressure when your village cannot meet certain demands. The result is a thoughtful, focused strategy game with a peaceful mountain theme, but still enough tension to keep everyone watching the table. Little village, big decisions. Very sneaky, this one.
