About this product

Build the bridge between worlds and claim power for your faction.

A fantasy strategy board game from Deep Print Games and Pegasus Spiele, designed by Michael Rieneck and Franz Vohwinkel.

Skybridge is a competitive fantasy strategy game where players lead unique factions, gather resources, build the great Skybridge, and compete for power in the world of Thraen.

Product Description

In Skybridge, players enter the hollow world of Thraen, a harsh and fading land where hope hangs high above in the sky. At the centre of this strange world floats Beeledhan’s Eye, a green paradise that seems just out of reach.

To reach it, the factions of Thraen begin an ambitious project: the construction of the Skybridge.

Each player leads a different faction with its own special ability. On your turn, you will draft faction cards, build up your card display, collect resources, strengthen your military presence, seek the favour of the Godhs, and decide when to contribute to the bridge.

But the higher the Skybridge rises, the more difficult the task becomes. Rebels gather, the Great Drakhes awaken, and every faction wants to be the one with the most power when the bridge is complete.

This is a thoughtful strategy game for players who enjoy planning, timing, resource choices, and building a clever engine over several rounds.

Why you’ll love it

  • Rich fantasy setting: Explore the hollow world of Thraen and the dream of reaching Beeledhan’s Eye.
  • Unique player factions: Each character has a special ability that changes how they play.
  • Clever card system: Build rune stacks, activate card effects, and create strong combinations.
  • Meaningful resource choices: Gather money, wood, stone, metal, sumpters, salt, and Godh cards.
  • Multiple scoring paths: Score through bridge construction, Godh favour, rebel control, and garrisons.

  • Not a co-operative game: The factions may be working toward the same bridge, but they are competing for the most power.
  • Card-driven strategy: Players draft faction cards, place them into rune slots, and activate visible card effects.
  • Multiple paths to victory: You can focus on the bridge, Godh cards, military control, garrisons, or a balanced mix.
  • Variable player powers: Each faction has its own ability, giving the game strong replay value.
  • Best for strategy players: This is not a light party or family filler. It suits players who enjoy planning and tactical choices.
  • App optional: The rulebook mentions the Deep Print Games app for scoring, but the game can be played without it.

Care & Maintenance

Keep the cards, boards, wooden pieces, dice, and tokens stored neatly in the box after play. Avoid moisture, direct sunlight, and rough handling, especially with the Skybridge pieces and player boards. Card sleeves may be useful if the game will be played often.
