Salton Sea is a strategic board game set around California’s unique Salton Sea, where geothermal energy and lithium extraction come together in a modern industrial theme.

Players manage geothermal lithium extraction companies and compete to earn the most victory points. On your turn, you place one of your engineers on an available action space, card or contract to grow your company. You may acquire drilling licences, drill into claims, extract brine, process it into lithium or geothermal energy, repair machinery, sell products, complete contracts, research new advantages, buy shares, develop your business project or secure financing.

With multiple scoring paths and careful action timing, Salton Sea rewards players who enjoy building an efficient engine and making smart decisions across the whole game.
