About this product
A royal feast where every order has to be just right.
Draft smart, serve carefully and keep the nobles happy.
A quick card game of clever food drafting, exact orders and picky nobles at Louis XIV’s royal dinner.
Product Description
Welcome to Louis XIV’s royal dinner, where the guests are distinguished, the feast is extravagant and the nobles are very particular about what lands on their plates.
In Royale: Party at Louis’, you take on the role of a waiter trying to satisfy a table of demanding nobles. Food cards are arranged in a 3 × 3 tray, and on your turn you choose all three cards from a row or column before deciding which nobles to serve. Each noble has their own precise requirements, so choosing the right combination, and placing it carefully, is the key to scoring.
Some nobles want matching values, others demand particular food types, totals or sequences. White abundance cards can stand in for any food type, while your Imposter gives you a once-per-game special way to take cards from the tray.
But mistakes can be costly. If the cards beneath a noble can no longer satisfy their requirements, that food may have to be discarded and you will need to start again. Score all of your nobles first to win, or finish with the most points if the End of Party card brings the evening to a close.
There is also a dedicated solo game in which you compete against an AI deck and try to score as many nobles as possible within nine turns.
