Build magnificent pyramids, earn the favour of the Egyptian gods and create a legacy worthy of the Pharaoh.
An Ancient Egypt strategy board game for 1–4 players, combining dice placement, card combinations, pyramid construction and divine powers.
Guide your workers, gather stone, call upon sacred cats and powerful gods, and compete to become the most celebrated architect of Ancient Egypt.
Product Description
The Pharaoh has summoned the finest architects of Ancient Egypt to the Giza plateau. Their challenge is to create magnificent pyramids that will honour his name and stand as monuments to his greatness.
In Pyramidice, you take on the role of an ambitious architect competing to earn the most Fame through clever construction, resource management and the favour of the Egyptian gods.
Building a pyramid is no simple task. You'll need workers to manage construction, Stone dice to create the pyramids and careful planning to make every opportunity count. Meanwhile, competing architects are pursuing their own ambitions, and the timing of your decisions could make all the difference.
Each turn, choose between resting to gather resources or working to advance your plans. During a Work turn, roll dice and decide how to use their values. Build sections of the pyramids, acquire powerful God cards or develop combinations that can strengthen your strategy.
Even the sacred cats have an important role. Spend Cat resources to adjust dice values, turning an inconvenient roll into an opportunity to achieve your plans.
The gods of Ancient Egypt bring another layer of strategy. Recruit deities with different powers, combine their abilities and decide which divine blessings best support your approach to victory. Some gods offer immediate advantages, while others reward you with additional Fame at the end of the game.
Every architect also receives a hidden Project card, creating an individual scoring opportunity based on the arrangement of Stone dice within the pyramids. Carefully consider where you build, because the right construction may bring rewards beyond the Fame earned immediately.
With different gods, Scarab abilities, construction decisions and personal projects to explore, Pyramidice offers several paths to victory.
Prefer to build your legacy alone? The dedicated Solo Mode lets you challenge one of four legendary architects of Ancient Egypt, each providing a different level of difficulty.
When the final stones have been placed and the gods have bestowed their blessings, the architect with the most Fame earns the Pharaoh's recognition and claims victory.
