About this product
Same battle nest. Smaller adventure.
A compact two-player tactical game of movement, captures and clever positioning.
Take Operation Cuckoo on the go in this travel-sized edition featuring smaller playing pieces and a single-sided game board.
Product Description
Welcome back to the battle nest, now in a more compact format made for travel.
In Operation Cuckoo Travel Edition, two rival cuckoos battle for control of an unfamiliar nest. Move eggs, reed warblers and your cuckoo across the board, capture opposing pieces and look for the right opportunity to outmanoeuvre your opponent.
Each type of playing piece moves differently. Eggs move one space, while reed warblers and cuckoos can move one or two spaces in a straight line. If an opposing piece is within capturing range, you must capture it, making every move an important tactical decision.
There is more than one route to victory. You can eliminate your own pieces until only your cuckoo remains, capture your opponent’s cuckoo, reach an opposing homebase with your cuckoo, or take advantage of an opponent entering your homebase incorrectly. Matches are played as a best-of-three set.
This Travel Edition keeps the core two-player gameplay while using smaller pieces and a single-sided game board, making it a handy alternative to the full-size version.
