About this product

Build your railway, improve your bag and race across North America.

A strategic bag-building train game for 1 to 4 players, designed by Paul Dennen.

Grow your railway company by building rail lines, opening stations and delivering goods through smart bag-building decisions.

Product Description

All aboard, Buddy. Lightning Train is a strategic train board game where players compete to run the most successful railway company across eight regions of North America.

Each player builds their own bag of chips, then draws from it to decide what options they have each turn. Those chips help you build rail lines, secure contracts, open stations, deliver goods and improve your company over time. The stronger your bag becomes, the better your railway engine starts to run. Tiny chips, big business brain. Dangerous combo.

The main way to score is by delivering goods to cities that need them. Rail lines matter because goods travel along the most direct route, and players score when their rail lines are used in a delivery. You will need clever planning, good timing and a sharp eye for profitable routes if you want to stay ahead of your rivals.
