About this product
Outthink the fleet. Claim the richest haul.
A competitive sky-pirate strategy game from Stonemaier Games for 1–6 players.
Choose your crew carefully, read your rivals and sail through three voyages in pursuit of treasure, reputation and glory.
Product Description
High above the world of Galecrest, rival sky-pirate crews set sail in search of treasure, adventure and glory.
In Libertalia: Winds of Galecrest, you command a crew of colourful characters across three voyages. At the beginning of each voyage, every player receives the same selection of character cards. The challenge comes from deciding which character to play and when, while trying to anticipate what your rivals might choose.
Each day, players secretly select a character and reveal them simultaneously. Characters are arranged according to rank, with reputation helping to break ties. Their abilities unfold through daytime, dusk and night phases as crews compete for valuable loot before returning to their ships.
The game builds across three increasingly long voyages. Characters you hold back can remain available for later voyages, giving every decision a longer-term consequence. Reputation affects both tiebreakers and the doubloons you receive at the start of a voyage, while different loot combinations can change the opportunities waiting on each island.
This revised and expanded edition of Libertalia introduces new artwork, 40 characters per player, a reputation system, deluxe loot tokens, dedicated 2-player rules and a full solo mode using Automa and the Pilferer.
