About this product
Your cards may be in the wrong order, but that does not mean your plan has to be.
Designed by Toshiki Arao and illustrated by Laura Michaud.
Build stronger adjacent combinations, decide whether to keep or discard beaten cards, and be the first player to empty your hand.
Product Description
In Jungo, getting rid of your cards sounds simple until you realise you are not allowed to rearrange your hand.
Players take turns playing one or more adjacent cards with the same number. To beat the combination already on the table, play the same number of cards with a higher value or play a larger combination, regardless of its value.
Whenever you beat another combination, you face an important choice. Discard those cards to clear them from play, or add them anywhere in your hand to create stronger combinations for later.
Unable or unwilling to play? Draw a card from the Jungo. You may add it anywhere in your hand, discard it, or immediately call on the Law of the Jungo and use it as part of a stronger combination.
Double cards can represent either of their two printed numbers, giving you extra flexibility as you work around the fixed order of your hand.
The first player to play every card in their hand wins.
Why you’ll love it
- A clever fixed-hand challenge: You cannot rearrange your cards, so every play changes what combinations may become available next.
- Simple rules with meaningful choices: Beat the table using a higher value or a larger group of matching cards.
- Choose what happens to beaten cards: Add them to your hand to strengthen future combinations or discard them to keep the game moving.
- Flexible Double cards: Use each Double card as either of the two values printed on it.
- The Law of the Jungo: A newly drawn card may sometimes be played immediately to beat the current combination.
- Quick rounds: With an estimated playing time of approximately 15 minutes, it is easy to play again.
- Works across several group sizes: Designed for 2–5 players, with different starting hand sizes depending on the group.

Good to Know
- Fixed hand order: Once the cards are dealt, you may not rearrange the cards already in your hand.
- Adjacent combinations: Multiple cards may only be played together when they have the same value and sit next to one another in your hand.
- Beating a combination: Play the same number of cards with a higher value or play more cards than the current combination.
- Starting hands: Deal 10 cards per player in a two- or three-player game and 8 cards per player in a four- or five-player game.
- Drawn-card choices: A card drawn from the Jungo may be added anywhere in your hand, discarded or played immediately under the Law of the Jungo when it creates a valid stronger combination.
- Optional match format: Because rounds tend to be quick, the rulebook suggests playing until someone wins two rounds.
