About this product
Pick your favourites, make your predictions and prepare to yell at four wonderfully unpredictable mascots.
2–9+ Players | Ages 6+ | Approx. 20 Minutes | CMYK
A wildly watchable mascot racing party game where you plan before the race, then sit back and see whether your brilliant prediction survives the chaos.
Product Description
Welcome to Hot Streak, where four offbeat mascots take to the track and absolutely nothing is guaranteed to go according to plan.
Across three races, players draft betting tickets for the mascots they think will perform best, with the choice to play things safer or take a bigger risk. There are also unusual side bets that ask you to predict some of the stranger things that could happen during the race.
But you are not completely powerless. Before each race, everyone secretly contributes a racing card from their hand to the racing deck, giving players one chance to influence what might happen before the action begins.
Then the race takes over.
Cards are revealed one at a time to determine how the mascots move. They might charge forward, head the wrong way, turn around, fall over, change lanes or collide with another racer. A mascot can even end up disqualified. Once the race starts, there are no further strategic decisions to make, so everyone can concentrate on watching, cheering and wondering what on earth their chosen mascot is doing.
After each race, betting tickets are paid out using the included game money. After the third and final race, everyone totals their winnings to see who had the hottest streak.
Why you’ll love it
- Combines racing, prediction and light strategy with a deliberately chaotic party atmosphere.
- Make your decisions before the race, then enjoy watching the action unfold without constantly stopping for player turns.
- Secretly add a racing card before each race to influence the odds without revealing your plan.
- Choose between safer bets and riskier options with potentially bigger rewards.
- Side bets give you more than just the finishing order to think about.
- Mascots can turn around, fall down, change lanes, collide and even be disqualified.
- The pull-out racetrack and four chunky mascot figures turn the race into something everyone around the table can watch together.
- Official variants accommodate everything from a 2-player game to groups of 9 or more.

Good to Know
- Hot Streak uses pretend betting and included game money as part of the game.
- Standard play is designed for 3–8 players, with separate official rules included for 2 players and groups of 9 or more.
- Each game consists of three races, with betting followed by the race and then payouts.
- Before each race, players secretly contribute a card that can influence how the mascots perform.
- Once a standard race begins, the racing cards determine the action, so players can concentrate on watching and reacting to the race.
- Mascots may move forwards or backwards, turn around, fall over, change lanes and collide with other racers.
- Racers can be disqualified through knockouts or by going out of bounds.
- The third race adds an extra twist by doubling the payout of one selected betting ticket.
- The 9+ player variant changes the betting system for larger groups and uses paper for recording bets instead of the normal money and betting tickets.
Care & Maintenance
Keep the cards, tickets, mascot figures and other components dry and stored safely in the box between games. When play is finished, the rulebook instructs you to use the side knobs on the box to roll the pull-out racetrack back into place.
