About this product

Aim, throw and cook your way to hibachi glory.

A fast, hands-on cooking contest for 2–4 players.

Throw chips onto ingredients, manage your money and be the first chef to complete three recipes.

Product Description

Step up to the grill for a lively cooking contest where careful aim can be just as important as clever planning.

Take turns throwing your numbered chips onto the cooking area, targeting the ingredients needed for your recipes. Chips may knock rival chefs out of position, change ingredient prices or land on useful action spaces.

Once every chef has finished throwing, reveal the chip values and decide how to use them. Buy ingredients, sell them for extra Yen, earn tips, reserve recipes or begin cooking. The first chef to complete three recipes wins the contest.

Why you’ll love it

  • Hands-on gameplay: Aim and throw your chips directly onto the cooking area.
  • Playfully competitive: Knock rival chips aside and try to claim the best ingredient spaces.
  • Changing ingredient prices: The combined value of the chips on a space affects buying and selling.
  • Race to complete recipes: Collect the right ingredients and be the first to cook three dishes.
  • Quick table fun: A game takes approximately 25 minutes.
  • Streamlined edition: Faster and more straightforward rules keep the action moving.

Good to Know

  • Hidden chip values: Players should throw their chips face down where possible.
  • Knocking is allowed: You may deliberately move another chef’s chip with your throw.
  • Different player counts: Players use all four chips in a 2–3 player game and three chips each in a 4-player game.
  • Buying and selling: Ingredient prices are based on the combined value of all chips currently on that ingredient space.
  • Flexible chip use: A chip can activate its space, cook a recipe or simply be removed.
  • Chili substitution: Two Chili cards may replace one required ingredient, once per recipe.
  • Tiebreaker: When several players complete three recipes in the same round, the player with the most remaining money wins.
