Product Description

Disaster has struck Barcadia. On the eve of the realm’s greatest drinking competition, a band of monsters has stolen the drinks and hidden them somewhere inside a sprawling dungeon. Now it is up to Barcadia’s heroes to find the hoard first. 

In Heroes of Barcadia, your character’s Health Bar Cup is your HP meter. Fill it to the FULL line with a beverage of your choice, then move your cup through the dungeon as you explore new rooms. When your hero takes damage, your health drops according to the Liquid Life System™ markings on the cup. Alcohol is not required — the publisher specifically notes that the game can be played using any liquid. 

Reveal dungeon rooms, roll your D20 to battle Monsters and Bosses, and collect rewards along the way. Loot Cards can help you or interfere with your opponents, while Power-Ups grant ongoing abilities that can change how you approach the dungeon. 

Your ultimate goal is to collect three Power-Ups, locate the Drink Hoard and defeat the Grand Drink Guardian. Beat the final challenge and the treasure — and victory — is yours. 

And getting knocked out does not mean sitting out the rest of the game. If your HP reaches zero, you suffer some penalties, return to the Starting Point, refill your Health Bar Cup and continue the adventure.
