About this product
Gather your heroes, outmanoeuvre your rivals and build a party brave enough to face the monsters ahead.
A standalone base game from Unstable Games, the creators of Unstable Unicorns.
Build a fantasy party, activate Hero abilities, challenge rival cards and slay dangerous Monsters using cards and dice.
Product Description
Adventure awaits, but your rivals are not going to make the journey easy.
In Here to Slay, every player chooses a Party Leader with a class and a special skill that remains active throughout the game. From there, you will recruit Heroes, equip useful Items, cast Magic and build a party capable of taking on powerful Monsters.
Each turn gives you three Action Points to spend. Draw cards, add Heroes and Items to your Party, play Magic, activate a Hero effect or launch an attack against a Monster. Hero abilities and Monster battles are resolved by rolling two dice, while Modifier cards can shift the result at just the right moment.
Your opponents can interfere with your plans using Challenge cards. When a Hero, Item or Magic card is challenged, both players roll the dice to decide whether the card enters play or heads straight to the discard pile.
Slaying a Monster gives your Party a new ongoing skill, but every attack carries a risk. Roll high enough and you claim the Monster. Roll within its retaliation range and your own Heroes may pay the price.
There are two paths to victory: slay three Monsters or finish your turn with six different classes represented in your Party.
