Product Description
Galaxy trucking was never exactly a safe profession. Galaxy Trucker: The Latest Models Expansion Old Edition makes ship building even stranger with a collection of unconventional new spacecraft designs.
Designed for the original Galaxy Trucker game, The Latest Models introduces new ship boards for Classes IC, IIC, IIIC and IVC. Each design changes the way you approach construction and creates its own challenges before your ship even leaves the building yard.
Classes IC and IIC feature a structural rift through the centre of the ship that changes how connectors can be joined. Class IIIC takes ship construction in a completely different direction, with a wraparound layout where the top connects to the bottom and the left connects to the right. Class IVC begins as four separate ships, with die rolls during construction determining which areas become available and how the pieces may eventually connect.
These are not simply different-looking boards. Their unusual layouts introduce new decisions, new risks and new opportunities to test your Galaxy Trucker building skills.
The expansion can be mixed with ships from the original game and the first two big Galaxy Trucker expansions, giving experienced truckers even more ways to decide what sort of questionable spacecraft they are willing to launch.

Good to Know
- Base game required: Galaxy Trucker: The Latest Models is not a standalone game. This 2013 expansion was designed for the original / old edition of Galaxy Trucker. It was not released for the newer Galaxy Trucker Relaunched Edition.
- Please check your edition before purchasing: Afrishon World currently stocks the newer Galaxy Trucker Relaunched Edition. We have not confirmed official compatibility between that edition and The Latest Models expansion.
- Old-edition product: This is the 2013 expansion created for the original Galaxy Trucker game.
- Expansion compatibility: The new ships are fully compatible with elements from the first two big Galaxy Trucker expansions.
- Mix your ship classes: A game can include ships from the original set, the first two big expansions and The Latest Models. Players should use the same ship class during a particular round.
- Different ships, different challenges: Classes IC/IIC, IIIC and IVC each introduce their own building and flight rules rather than simply providing alternate board artwork.
- Five-player considerations: The included fifth pair of ship boards supports use with the first big expansion's 5-player game. Some Class IV 5-player setups require components from the basic game and both big expansions.
- Class IV without the second big expansion: The rulebook includes special rules allowing Class IVC ships to be used with Level III adventure cards when the Level IV cards from the second big expansion are not available.
