Product Description

The forest does not simply end at the last tree. Along its edges, shrubs, hedges and open grassland create another thriving habitat filled with wildlife and plant life.

Forest Shuffle Woodland Edge introduces 36 new cards that can be mixed directly into the Forest Shuffle base game for greater variety and fresh strategic possibilities.

The biggest addition is a new card type: Shrubs. Like trees, a Shrub provides space for one card on each of its four sides. Unlike trees, Shrubs also have a permanent effect similar to mushrooms. They form their own distinct card type and count as neither trees nor mushrooms.

The expansion also brings new forest creatures and familiar species venturing beyond the deeper woodland. New card effects and interactions give you more ways to develop combinations, connect species and shape the scoring potential of your growing forest.

Woodland Edge can be played with the base game on its own or combined with another Forest Shuffle expansion, with the official rules providing adjusted setup instructions for the larger card pool.
