Product Description

There are Exploding Kittens hiding in the draw pile, and sooner or later somebody is going to find one.

In Exploding Kittens, players take turns playing cards and drawing from the deck while doing everything they can to avoid an explosive exit. Draw an Exploding Kitten and you are out, unless you have a Defuse card ready to save yourself. Play continues until only one player remains.  

Your hand gives you plenty of ways to interfere with that simple plan. Peek at upcoming cards with See the Future, skip a dangerous draw, shuffle the deck, force another player to take extra turns, ask for a card with Favor, or shut down another player's action with a Nope. 

And once everyone knows the basics, Special Combos let matching pairs and three-of-a-kind create even more opportunities to steal the cards you need. 

Fast to learn, quick to play and gloriously unpredictable, it is a game where surviving one more draw can feel like a major achievement.

Good to Know

• When an Exploding Kitten is drawn, the player is eliminated unless they can play a Defuse card. 
• After using a Defuse, the Exploding Kitten is secretly returned anywhere in the draw pile. 
• The number of Exploding Kittens placed in the deck is always one fewer than the number of players. 
• The rules include a faster-game variant for 2–3 players. 
• There is no maximum or minimum hand size.
