This expansion adds 20 new cards to your Exploding Kittens deck, including the dangerous Imploding Kitten. Unlike a normal Exploding Kitten, this one cannot be defused. Once it appears, everyone knows trouble is waiting in the deck.

The expansion also introduces clever new ways to mess with the game, including cards like Reverse, Draw From the Bottom, Feral Cat, Alter the Future, and Targeted Attack. It also includes the oversized Cone of Shame turn indicator, which helps everyone remember the direction of play, especially when Reverse cards start causing confusion around the table.

Imploding Kittens is not a standalone game. It requires a compatible Exploding Kittens base game to play.

How to Play

Add the expansion cards to a compatible Exploding Kittens deck. Players still try to avoid drawing dangerous kitten cards, but the Imploding Kitten changes the pressure completely.

When the Imploding Kitten first appears, it is placed face up, so everyone can see the danger coming. Later, if a player draws it face down, it cannot be defused. That player is out.

The Cone of Shame is used to show the current direction of play. If someone forgets whose turn comes next, they wear the Cone of Shame and help everyone remember the correct direction. Very official. Very ridiculous. The rule sheet also includes setup notes, two-player guidance, two or three-player setup, and a faster game variant.

Care & Maintenance
