About this product

Product Description

Duel of Meloch brings the worlds and gameplay systems of Scythe and Expeditions together for a tense head-to-head clash in the 1920+ universe.

One player takes the Scythe side, using its rules and components, including a new faction and player mat. The other takes the Expeditions side, with its own rules and components, including a new mech, character and companion.

The battle unfolds across a tight double-sided map with just 10 locations and 2 lakes, creating more direct interaction and making every movement and decision matter. Instead of traditional end-game scoring, both sides race to become the first to place 4 stars on the Triumph Track.

Meloch also has a way of interfering with the struggle. As stars are placed, Meloch cards can give the opposing player new benefits, adding another layer of tension to the race.

Duel of Meloch is a standalone game, so you do not need to own Scythe or Expeditions to play. If you already own either game, however, compatible factions, player mats, mechs, characters, companions and other content can open up even more combinations.

Dedicated Automa components and rules are also included for solo play.
