Product Description
Take your Roman trading network into two very different regions with Concordia: Gallia & Corsica, a map expansion that adds fresh strategic challenges to the Concordia base game.
The expansion introduces two new maps, each changing the way players approach expansion without replacing Concordia's familiar economic and card-driven gameplay. The standard Concordia rules remain in effect, with specific adjustments for each map.
On the Gallia map, every player begins with a land colonist in Lutetia while their sea colonist waits in the Mediterranean. Before that sea colonist can enter play, you must establish a house in one of Gallia's designated harbour cities. The Seine also functions as a sea route, while a special land crossing between Bononia and Londinium creates another unusual movement opportunity.
Corsica provides a very different challenge. With only 20 cities across eight provinces, it is the tightest Concordia map in this expansion and creates greater competition for space. Players begin with both a land and sea colonist in Aleria, and the map includes an additional cash bonus when provinces are reactivated.
Both maps support the full player range, while Corsica is particularly well suited to games with two or three players.
For experienced Concordia players looking for new geography, tighter positioning decisions and different opening strategies, Gallia & Corsica provides two distinctive ways to rediscover the system.
