About this product

Choose your Sage, command the elements and shape a formation strong enough to outlast every rival.

From Unstable Games, the creators of Here to Slay and Casting Shadows.

Build your deck, summon Elemental Warriors and unlock powerful faction abilities as you battle to protect your Sage.

Product Description

Magic stirs throughout the forest as rival Sages gather their Elemental forces for battle.

In Command of Nature, each player leads one of four factions: Twig, Leaf, Droplet or Pebble. Every Sage begins with a dedicated Sage pack and a distinct approach to combat. Twig focuses on boosted damage, Pebble builds defensive shields, Droplet balances offence and defence through card advantage and formation movement, while Leaf manages its deck and discard pile.

Your Elementals form three tactical rows, and their positions matter. Summon new fighters, play Commands, draw cards and swap connected Elementals by spending Action Points. Attack Commands let you launch melee or ranged attacks, while Utility and Instant Commands help you reposition your forces, protect your formation or disrupt an opponent’s plan.

Defeating opposing Elementals raises your level. Reach levels 4, 6 and 8 to add powerful Elemental Champions to your deck and unlock new faction actions unique to your Sage.

Gold collected during the game can be spent in the Elemental and Command Markets. Purchase new recruits, strengthen your deck, sell unwanted cards or refresh a market when its current choices do not suit your strategy.

Play as a head-to-head duel with two players or form competing teams with four players. Protect your Sage while breaking through the opposing formation—the last Sage, or team of Sages, standing earns the title of Master of the Elements.

Why you’ll love it

  • Four distinctive factions: Choose Twig, Leaf, Droplet or Pebble, each with its own Sage, abilities and style of play.
  • Build your deck during battle: Purchase Elementals and Commands from two shared markets to expand your options.
  • Tactical formations: Position Elementals across three rows and rearrange connected fighters to prepare attacks or protect your Sage.
  • Rewarding progression: Defeat opposing Elementals to level up, unlock faction actions and gain powerful Elemental Champions.
  • Flexible Action Points: Decide how to divide your actions between summoning, Commands, movement and drawing cards.
  • Interactive combat: Use melee and ranged attacks while opponents answer with Instant Commands, shields and other effects.
  • Meaningful market choices: Spend gold on new cards, sell cards you no longer need or refresh the available selection.
  • Two ways to compete: Play a direct two-player duel or join forces for a four-player team battle.

Good to Know

  • Player count: Command of Nature is designed specifically for two or four players; no three-player mode is provided.
  • Four-player teamwork: Teammates share Action Points and gold but maintain separate decks, hands and discard piles.
  • Faction flexibility: Players begin with a faction-specific Sage pack but may purchase Elementals belonging to any faction from the market.
  • Front-row movement: Empty spaces in the forward rows must be filled from rows farther back whenever possible.
  • Sage protection: Losing your Sage ends a two-player game. In a four-player game, the team loses once both of its Sages have been defeated.
  • Important warning: Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that may present a choking hazard.
