Product Description
It is 1899, the Union Pacific Express is carrying valuable loot, and a gang of bandits has decided that the money would look much better in their pockets.
In Colt Express, each player takes control of an outlaw competing to finish the robbery as the richest bandit. The clever part is that you do not simply take your actions one at a time. During the Schemin’ phase, players program their moves by adding Action cards to a shared deck. Then comes the Stealin’ phase, when those plans are carried out in order.
That is when a carefully planned robbery can turn into complete chaos. A rival may move before you, a shot can interfere with your plans, the Marshal may appear where you least want him, or the loot you were aiming for may already be gone.
The constructable 3D locomotive and train cars bring the action to life, with bandits scrambling through the carriages and across the rooftops as they move, rob, punch and shoot their way through the heist.
With six bandits offering different special abilities and games lasting around 40 minutes, Colt Express combines planning, unpredictable moments and plenty of Wild West mischief.

Good to Know
- Standalone game: Colt Express contains what you need to play and does not require a separate base game.
- Some assembly required: The locomotive and train cars should be assembled before your first game.
- Your plans are not guaranteed to go as expected: Actions are programmed during the Schemin’ phase and then resolved in order during the Stealin’ phase. Once programmed, an action must be carried out if it is still possible.
- Bullets have a lasting effect: Being shot adds Bullet cards to your deck. These cards cannot be used as actions, making it harder to draw the cards you want later.
- The Marshal stays inside the train: Meeting him forces bandits onto the roof and gives them a Neutral Bullet card.
- Two-player games work differently: Each player controls a team of two bandits and uses the Expert Variant rules. The Gunslinger prize is not awarded in a 2-player game.
- Gunslinger bonus: In games with 3–6 players, the player or players who fire the most bullets receive a $1000 Gunslinger bonus at the end of the game.
