In CLANK! Catacombs, every step into the darkness can reveal somewhere new. Instead of exploring a fixed board, players build the catacombs tile by tile as the adventure unfolds, creating a shifting dungeon filled with treasure, danger and unexpected routes.

Deep beneath the ground lies the domain of Umbrok Vessna, a skeletal dragon whose catacombs are anything but peaceful. Portals can carry you across the dungeon, Wayshrines reward daring explorers, prisoners are waiting to be freed and disturbed ghosts can add an entirely new kind of danger to your escape.

At the heart of the game is the familiar CLANK! deck-building system. Your cards provide the resources you need to move through the dungeon, acquire new cards, fight monsters and build a stronger deck as the game progresses. The choices you make shape both your route through the catacombs and the tools available to you later in the adventure.

Treasure is tempting, but staying too long comes with a price. Venture deeper in search of valuable Artifacts and other rewards, or start making your way back towards safety before the dragon closes in. Getting rich is only useful if you survive long enough to escape.

The tile-built dungeon means no two explorations need follow the same path. New rooms, tunnels and features are revealed as players move, while portals can open shortcuts and unexpected connections across the catacombs.

CLANK! Catacombs is a complete standalone game and does not require another CLANK! title to play. Players who already own compatible cards from previous CLANK! expansions can also incorporate them into the adventure.
