Product Description
It may look adorable, but boop is a surprisingly thinky abstract strategy game for two clever cats.
On your turn, place one of your kittens onto the quilted bed. Every newly placed piece “boops” the pieces directly beside it one space away, including diagonally. Pieces can even be pushed completely off the bed and returned to their owner's supply. A booped piece does not trigger another boop, so every placement becomes a spatial puzzle of positioning, disruption and timing.
Line up three of your kittens horizontally, vertically or diagonally to graduate them into adult cats. Once cats enter the game, the challenge grows: kittens cannot boop adult cats, while adult cats can boop both kittens and other cats.
Your ultimate goal is to line up three adult cats and win, all while your opponent is constantly pushing your carefully positioned pieces around the bed. The rules even provide an alternate victory condition if all eight of your adult cats are on the bed at the end of your turn.
The playing surface is part of the charm: the quilted fabric game board sits over the upside-down box bottom to create a miniature bed for the cats to battle over.
