Rise through the ages of ancient Rome and build a family legacy that lasts.
A deep strategy board game for players who enjoy planning, influence, and outsmarting rivals across multiple eras.
Lead your Roman family through the Kingdom, Republic, and Empire as you compete for prestige, power, and lasting influence.
Product Description
In Aeterna, you step into the role of a Roman Gens and fight to grow your family’s prestige across three major eras of Roman history: the Roman Kingdom, the Roman Republic, and the Roman Empire.
Your path to power runs through the heart of Rome. You will work to gain influence over the 7 Hills, help construct important buildings and monuments, and support the conquest of provinces. But power alone is not enough. You also need to keep the citizens happy, because unrest in the Hills you control can damage your reputation and hold your family back.
Aeterna blends smart planning with rich competition. You will draw and draft cards, manage resources, and make careful decisions as the game evolves through changing eras. Each phase brings new opportunities, new pressures, and new ways to strengthen your standing in the city.
This is a strategy game for players who enjoy meaningful choices, tactical timing, and the satisfaction of building a lasting legacy. If you can outwit your rivals, your Gens will be remembered as one of the greatest in Roman history.
